Ingredients
  

Spice Blend
  • 3 sticks Cinnamon Sticks Optional: use ground cinnamon if sticks aren't available.
  • 1 pinch Allspice Berries No direct substitute.
  • 5 whole Whole Cloves Use whole for more intense flavor release.
Juices
  • 4 cups Apple Cider Substitute with pear nectar for a different twist.
  • 2 cups Cranberry Juice Use unsweetened for less sugar; pomegranate juice is a great alternative.
  • 1 cup Orange Juice Fresh-squeezed is preferable.
  • 1 cup Pomegranate Juice Can be omitted or replaced with additional cranberry or apple juice.
  • 1 cup Pineapple Juice Substitute with mango or guava juice for tropical flair.
Fizz
  • 2 cups Lemon-Lime Soda Alternatives include ginger ale or club soda.
Garnish
  • 1 Orange Sliced for garnish.
  • 1 cup Cranberries Fresh or frozen; dried cranberries can be substituted.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large punch bowl, combine 2 to 3 cinnamon sticks, a sprinkle of allspice berries, and 4–5 whole cloves. Pour in 4 cups of apple cider, 2 cups of cranberry juice, 1 cup of fresh orange juice, 1 cup of pomegranate juice, and 1 cup of pineapple juice. Stir gently for about 2 minutes.
  2. Stir the mixture vigorously for another minute, and let it sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the spices to infuse.
  3. Just before serving, gently stir in 2 cups of chilled lemon-lime soda to create a delightful fizz.
  4. Add sliced oranges and a handful of cranberries to the punch bowl for garnish and serve immediately over ice.

Notes
