- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by greasing or lining it.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, ½ cup of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
- In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of melted butter and 2 cups of sugar. Whisk well, then add 4 eggs one at a time, followed by 1 tablespoon of vanilla and 1 tablespoon of red food coloring.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined, and fold in 1 cup of dark chocolate chips.
