Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (350°F for air fryer). Grease a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon until well blended.
  3. Slice off the tops of the apples and core them, making thin crosswise cuts about ¾ down the sides.
  4. Fill each apple with two caramel squares and brush the butter mixture over and inside the apples.
  5. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes or in the air fryer for about 20 minutes until apples are tender.
  6. Allow cooling slightly, then serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel sauce.
