Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices of rye bread
  • 8 ounces sliced turkey breast
  • 8 ounces sauerkraut drained
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 tablespoons thousand island dressing
  • 4 tablespoons butter softened

Method
 

  1. Preheat your Blackstone grill or a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter on one side of each slice of rye bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side of 4 slices of bread, layer 2 ounces of turkey, 2 ounces of sauerkraut, and 2 slices of Swiss cheese.
  4. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of thousand island dressing over the cheese on each sandwich.
  5. Top each sandwich with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Place the sandwiches on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the other side is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the grill, slice in half, and serve warm.
