Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Filling
  • 1 pound Ground Chicken or ground pork
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger fresh
  • 1 stalk Lemongrass sliced thinly
  • 1-2 pieces Thai Chili chopped, adjust based on spice preference
  • a handful Cilantro Stems chopped finely
  • 1 medium Red Onion sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice/Zest preferably fresh
  • 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce or soy sauce for vegetarian
  • a handful Thai Basil or regular basil
  • to taste Salt
For the Dipping Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce or soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar adjust according to taste
  • 1 piece Thai Chili fine chopped for heat
  • 1 clove Garlic minced

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Finely mince garlic and ginger, slice red onion and lemongrass, chop Thai chilis and cilantro stems, and prepare in bowls.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet, add oil, toss in minced garlic, ginger, sliced onion, lemongrass, chilis, and cilantro stems. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add ground chicken to the skillet, breaking it apart. Cook for 5-7 minutes until lightly browned and no longer pink. Season with salt to taste.
  4. Stir in lime juice, fish sauce, and Thai basil. Mix until combined and heated through for another minute.
  5. Whisk lime juice, fish sauce, brown sugar, and minced garlic in a bowl for the dipping sauce. Adjust spice with Thai chili if desired.
  6. Assemble wraps by spooning chicken mixture into lettuce leaves. Top with fresh herbs and drizzle with dipping sauce. Serve immediately.
