  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1 tablespoon capers rinsed and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup green onions sliced (for garnish)
  • Tortilla chips or crackers for serving

Method
 

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the chopped smoked salmon, dill, capers, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt, pepper, or lemon juice to your preference.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with sliced green onions.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  6. Serve chilled with tortilla chips or crackers.
