Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. Spread a layer of butter on the outer sides of two slices of bread.
  3. Flip the slices and spread marinara sauce on the inner sides.
  4. Layer half of the mozzarella cheese on one slice, add the chicken patty and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  5. Add the remaining mozzarella cheese over the chicken patty.
  6. Place the other slice of bread on top, with the marinara side down.
  7. Transfer the sandwich to the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes.
  8. Flip the sandwich and cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Remove from air fryer, let cool, then slice and serve with extra marinara sauce.
