- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Spread a layer of butter on the outer sides of two slices of bread.
- Flip the slices and spread marinara sauce on the inner sides.
- Layer half of the mozzarella cheese on one slice, add the chicken patty and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Add the remaining mozzarella cheese over the chicken patty.
- Place the other slice of bread on top, with the marinara side down.
- Transfer the sandwich to the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Remove from air fryer, let cool, then slice and serve with extra marinara sauce.
