Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a floured surface and slice into two rectangles.
  4. Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly over one rectangle, covering edges.
  5. Place the second rectangle of dough on top and align edges.
  6. Slice into strips approximately ¾ inch wide using a pizza cutter or knife.
  7. Twist each strip gently in opposite directions to create a spiral shape.
  8. Place twists on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with melted butter.
  9. Sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar over the tops of the buttered twists.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-11 minutes until golden brown.
