  2. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, flour, egg, and orange zest. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and pumpkin pie spice.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, and sugar. Mix until blended.
  5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet pumpkin mixture until just combined.
  6. Divide the pumpkin batter into the prepared loaf pans, spoon cream cheese mixture on top, then layer remaining batter. Swirl gently.
