Ingredients

Fudge Base
  • 2 cups White Candy Melts Ghirardelli recommended for better taste.
  • 2 cups Dark Chocolate Candy Melts Can substitute with dark chocolate chips.
  • 1 cup Vanilla Frosting Opt for vanilla for easy dyeing.
Coloring
  • 1 bottle Black Oil Food Coloring Essential for dark hue; avoid water-based.
  • 1 bottle Red Oil Food Coloring Avoid water or gel-based colors for best results.

Equipment

  • microwave-safe bowls
  • 8x8 baking dish
  • parchment paper or foil
  • toothpick or skewer

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by lining an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper or foil, allowing excess to hang over the sides for easy removal later. Set aside.
  2. In separate bowls, microwave the white and dark chocolate candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. Microwave the vanilla frosting for around 45 seconds until melted, then divide it equally between the two bowls of chocolate and stir to combine.
  4. Add several drops of red oil food coloring to the white chocolate mixture, and black oil food coloring to the dark mixture; mix until colors are achieved.
  5. Pour the colored mixtures alternatively into the prepared baking dish to create a marbled effect, then swirl with a toothpick.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until set.
  7. Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish and cut into squares or use cookie cutters for spooky shapes.
