Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder (if using). Whisk together until well mixed.
  3. Add the water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Stir with a spoon until the mixture begins to come together.
  4. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 1-2 minutes until smooth. If the dough is too sticky, sprinkle a little more flour as needed.
  5. Roll out the dough to your desired thickness, about 1/4 inch thick, and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Add your favorite pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve.
