Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese cut in half
  • Lettuce leaves for topping
  • Tomato slices for topping
  • Pickles for topping
  • Ketchup and mustard for serving

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a small patty, about 2 inches in diameter.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place half a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  4. While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the slider buns on the grill or in a toaster.
  5. Assemble the mini burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and your choice of ketchup and mustard. Place the top half of the bun on each burger.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture or top the burgers with spicy mayo.
  • Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option, adjusting the cooking time as needed to ensure the meat is fully cooked.
