Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your smoker to a steady temperature of 225°F using cherry or apple wood pellets.
  2. Place your spiral cut bone-in ham in a deep aluminum pan. Apply the dry rub mixture generously all over the ham.
  3. Once the smoker is ready, place the pan with the ham inside and smoke until the internal temperature reaches 120°F, about 3 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
  4. About 15 minutes before reaching 120°F, melt butter in a saucepan, mix in brown sugar, honey, and orange juice, and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour the glaze evenly over the ham once it reaches 120°F.
  6. Return the glazed ham to the smoker and cook until the internal temperature rises to 140°F, about 45-60 minutes.
