Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to a rectangle approximately 10x14 inches.
- Spread the marinara sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Layer shredded mozzarella cheese and pepperoni on top of the sauce.
- Roll the dough tightly from one long edge and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the top with egg wash and sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
- Cut slits in the top of the dough to allow steam to escape and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let the stromboli rest for 5-10 minutes, then slice and serve warm with extra marinara sauce.
