Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to a rectangle approximately 10x14 inches.
  3. Spread the marinara sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  4. Layer shredded mozzarella cheese and pepperoni on top of the sauce.
  5. Roll the dough tightly from one long edge and pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Place the stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the top with egg wash and sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cut slits in the top of the dough to allow steam to escape and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Let the stromboli rest for 5-10 minutes, then slice and serve warm with extra marinara sauce.
