Step‑by‑Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat for at least 30 minutes. Dust your work surface with flour or cornmeal to prevent sticking, then roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch round.
- Transfer the rolled dough onto a floured peel or parchment paper. Spread a generous layer of tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly, then arrange pepperoni slices on top. Dollop ricotta cheese around the pizza.
- Carefully slide the assembled pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake for 8-12 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest for a minute. Drizzle hot honey on top, and sprinkle with fresh basil and red pepper flakes if desired before slicing.

Notes
Enjoy your pizza fresh from the oven, but if you need to store it, do not leave out for more than 2 hours. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
