Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably panko
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce adjust to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. In a large skillet, heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil over medium heat.
  6. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the chicken tenders in batches, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. While the chicken is frying, mix honey and hot sauce in a small saucepan over low heat until combined.
  8. Once the chicken tenders are cooked, remove them from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  9. Drizzle the hot honey mixture over the chicken tenders before serving.
