Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash, peel, and chop 4 medium-sized apples into small pieces and place them in a medium saucepan.
  2. Pour in 1/2 cup of water, cover, and simmer on medium heat for about 10 minutes until the apples are tender.
  3. Add in 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, stir well, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Transfer the apple mixture to a blender and blend until ultra-smooth.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, pour the mixture onto it, and spread it evenly to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  6. Preheat your oven to 170°F and bake for 2 to 3 hours, checking for doneness every 20-30 minutes.
  7. Once cooled, cut the fruit leather into strips and store them flat in an airtight container.
