Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and gather your ingredients.
  2. In a large sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Stir in the all-purpose flour, cooking for an additional minute to thicken the mixture.
  4. Pour in beef broth and add Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and onion flakes. Stir for one minute until combined.
  5. Remove from heat and fold in cheddar cheese and sour cream until melted and creamy.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and layer in diced potatoes and carrots, stirring to combine.
  7. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and cover with aluminum foil.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until potatoes are fork-tender.
  9. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes. Optionally, garnish with dried parsley before serving.
