- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Evenly sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the rolled-out puff pastry, leaving a small border.
- Layer sliced pepperoni on the mozzarella, followed by sprinkling dried Italian herbs on top.
- Roll the puff pastry tightly into a log and slice it into 1-inch pieces.
- Place the slices cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet. Whisk the beaten egg and brush it over each roll.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the rolls cool for a minute before serving warm with pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
