Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Evenly sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the rolled-out puff pastry, leaving a small border.
  4. Layer sliced pepperoni on the mozzarella, followed by sprinkling dried Italian herbs on top.
  5. Roll the puff pastry tightly into a log and slice it into 1-inch pieces.
  6. Place the slices cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet. Whisk the beaten egg and brush it over each roll.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let the rolls cool for a minute before serving warm with pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
