Method
 

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, black pepper, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Flatten each triangle.
  4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the chicken filling into the center of each triangle and fold the dough over to create a pocket. Seal the edges.
  5. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle panko breadcrumbs if desired.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  7. While baking, prepare the creamy sauce by melting butter, whisking in flour, then gradually adding milk and cream until thickened. Stir in cheese.
  8. Serve baked Chicken Pillows drizzled with the creamy sauce.
