  • 1 package Puff Pastry Store-bought, thawed sheets
  • 8 ounces Ham Thinly sliced deli ham or honey-glazed
  • 1 cup Cheese Freshly shredded mozzarella or cheddar
  • 1 egg Egg Wash Lightly beaten for a golden finish
Optional Additions
  • 1 teaspoon Spices Black pepper or garlic powder
  • 1 cup Vegetables Finely chopped spinach or sautéed mushrooms

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Thaw and roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the rolled-out pastry into squares or rectangles, adding ham and cheese to half of them.
  4. Assemble stacks by placing remaining pastry squares on top and pressing the edges to seal.
  5. Brush the tops and edges with egg wash for a golden finish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly on a wire rack and serve warm.
