Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a shallow bowl, combine 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar with 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon until well mixed.
  2. Place a non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1/2 tablespoon of unsalted butter, allowing it to melt.
  3. Spread 1/2 tablespoon of caramel sauce on one half of a flour tortilla, then add 2-3 tablespoons of apple pie filling on top.
  4. Fold the tortilla over to create a half-moon shape and place it in the preheated pan to cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Brush the cooked quesadilla with another 1/2 tablespoon of melted butter and dip it into the cinnamon sugar mixture for coating.
  6. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas, serving warm with extra caramel sauce.
