- Start by peeling and thinly slicing your Granny Smith apples into strips, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour with apple pie spice, stirring until well blended. In another bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy.
- Dip each apple strip into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and back to the flour for a second coating.
- Preheat your air fryer to 325°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes, and spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the coated apple fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking oil. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip and cook another 5 minutes.
