Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by peeling and thinly slicing your Granny Smith apples into strips, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour with apple pie spice, stirring until well blended. In another bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy.
  3. Dip each apple strip into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and back to the flour for a second coating.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 325°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes, and spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  5. Place the coated apple fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking oil. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip and cook another 5 minutes.
  6. Once done, remove from the basket and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  7. Whisk together confectioners sugar, vanilla extract, and whole milk in a small bowl for the dipping sauce.
