Step-by-Step Instructions for Baked Rigatoni Pasta Recipe
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and coat a 9"x13" baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and brown the ground beef and mild Italian sausage for 3–4 minutes.
  3. Add chopped onion and cook for 5 minutes, then stir in minced garlic.
  4. Pour in marinara and tomato sauce, stir, and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Cook rigatoni pasta according to package instructions, then toss with the meat sauce.
  6. Transfer the rigatoni mixture to the baking dish and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
