  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon anchovy paste for a traditional flavor

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, croutons, and grated Parmesan cheese. Toss gently to mix.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and anchovy paste if using. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Drizzle the dressing over the salad mixture and toss until the lettuce is evenly coated.
  4. Serve immediately, garnishing with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
