  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef Substitute with ground turkey or chicken if desired.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to fit dietary restrictions.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh garlic may be used.
  • 24 ounces Marinara Sauce Use homemade or high-quality store-bought.
  • 20 ounces Fresh Cheese Tortellini Frozen can be used; cook per package instructions.
  • 2 cups Baby Spinach Frozen spinach works too; thaw and drain well.
  • 1 cup Italian Cheese Blend Substitute with mozzarella or cheddar if preferred.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, salt, and garlic powder, and cook until browned.
  3. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Add tortellini, half of the marinara sauce, and a splash of water.
  4. Layer baby spinach over the tortellini mixture, followed by the ground beef.
  5. Spread remaining marinara sauce over the beef layer and sprinkle with Italian cheese blend.
  6. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30-40 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil during the last 5 minutes to brown the cheese.
  8. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
