Scale
- 2 pounds bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin.

- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
- For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in the seasoning mixture for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Try substituting the smoked paprika with regular paprika or cayenne pepper for a different flavor profile.
