Description
A festive treat of strawberries dipped in white and blue chocolate, perfect for patriotic celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and dried
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup blue candy melts
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for thinning chocolate)
- Red and blue sprinkles (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. If desired, add coconut oil to thin the chocolate for easier dipping.
- Dip half of each strawberry into the melted white chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Place the dipped strawberries on the prepared baking sheet.
- In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the blue candy melts in the same manner as the white chocolate.
- Dip the other half of each strawberry into the melted blue candy melts and return to the baking sheet.
- While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle red and blue sprinkles on the strawberries for a festive touch.
- Refrigerate the strawberries for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of white chocolate.
- Experiment with different toppings like crushed nuts or shredded coconut for added texture.
