Description
A quick and easy no-yeast pizza dough recipe that is perfect for a fast homemade pizza.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder (if using). Whisk together until well mixed.
- Add the water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Stir with a spoon until the mixture begins to come together.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 1-2 minutes until smooth. If the dough is too sticky, sprinkle a little more flour as needed.
- Roll out the dough to your desired thickness, about 1/4 inch thick, and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
- Add your favorite pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve.
Notes
- For a whole wheat version, substitute half of the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour.
- Experiment with different herbs and spices in the dough, such as Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes, for added flavor.
