- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, oregano, and paprika. Mix well to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor.
- Place the marinated chicken breasts in a baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
