- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Italian dressing
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the Italian dressing, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Whisk until well blended.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill or oven to 375°F.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Substitute chicken breasts with chicken thighs for a juicier result.
