- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the honey garlic marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Once marinated, remove the salmon from the dish and place it in the air fryer basket, skin side down.
- Cook the salmon in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of sriracha or red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Serve the salmon over a bed of steamed rice or quinoa for a complete meal.
