- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade, tossing to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour for best flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, about 4-5 shrimp per skewer.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp from the grill and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

- For a smoky flavor, add a few drops of liquid smoke to the marinade.
