  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
  3. Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Dip each piece of chicken first into the flour mixture, shaking off any excess, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Ensure each piece is well covered.
  5. Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot (about 350°F).
  6. Carefully add the chicken nuggets to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove the nuggets from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
