Description
Crack Burgers are delicious and easy-to-make burgers that combine ground beef with ranch and onion soup mixes for an irresistible flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 8 hamburger buns
- Pickles, lettuce, and tomato for toppings (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ranch seasoning mix, and onion soup mix. Mix until well combined, but do not overwork the meat.
- Form the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of each patty and cover to melt the cheese.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to create the special sauce.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading the special sauce on the bottom bun, adding the cheese-topped patty, and topping with pickles, lettuce, and tomato if desired. Place the top bun on and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños or a splash of hot sauce to the beef mixture before forming the patties.
- Try using different types of cheese, such as pepper jack or blue cheese, for a unique flavor twist.
