Description

Crack Breakfast Sliders are a delicious morning treat featuring layers of crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, and melted cheese, all nestled in soft slider buns.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound bacon, chopped
  • 12 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Chopped chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  4. In the same skillet, pour in the egg mixture and cook, stirring gently, until just set but still slightly runny. Remove from heat.
  5. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish. Layer the cooked bacon, scrambled eggs, and cheese on top of the buns. Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
  6. Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped chives if desired. Cut into individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños or hot sauce to the egg mixture.
  • Substitute turkey bacon or sausage for a different flavor profile.
