- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the chicken mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the chicken mixture.
- Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. Arrange the biscuit pieces on top of the cheese layer, covering as much of the surface as possible.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving.
