A delicious and refreshing twist on traditional pasta salad, combining the flavors of Caprese and Caesar dressing.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces rotini pasta
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls, halved
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and chopped romaine lettuce.
- Drizzle the Caesar dressing and olive oil over the salad mixture. Toss gently to combine.
- Add the chopped basil and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then toss again to mix well.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- For added protein, consider adding grilled chicken or shrimp to the salad.
- Substitute the Caesar dressing with a balsamic vinaigrette for a different flavor profile.
