Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into 1-inch thick steaks (about 46 steaks)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Dip each cauliflower steak into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the cauliflower steaks.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and brush each steak generously with buffalo sauce.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

  • For a spicier kick, add extra hot sauce to the batter or buffalo sauce.
