Description
Baked Parmesan Garlic Herb Salmon is a savory dish featuring tender salmon fillets topped with a flavorful blend of garlic, herbs, and Parmesan cheese, baked to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, dried parsley, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Place each salmon fillet on a piece of aluminum foil, shiny side up.
- Brush the olive oil mixture generously over each fillet.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of each fillet.
- Place lemon slices on top of the cheese-covered salmon.
- Fold the foil around the salmon to create a sealed packet, ensuring no steam can escape.
- Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Carefully open the foil packets (watch out for steam) and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the olive oil mixture.
- Substitute the Parmesan cheese with feta or goat cheese for a different flavor profile.
