Description

Baked Parmesan Garlic Herb Salmon is a savory dish featuring tender salmon fillets topped with a flavorful blend of garlic, herbs, and Parmesan cheese, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, dried parsley, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place each salmon fillet on a piece of aluminum foil, shiny side up.
  4. Brush the olive oil mixture generously over each fillet.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of each fillet.
  6. Place lemon slices on top of the cheese-covered salmon.
  7. Fold the foil around the salmon to create a sealed packet, ensuring no steam can escape.
  8. Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  9. Carefully open the foil packets (watch out for steam) and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the olive oil mixture.
  • Substitute the Parmesan cheese with feta or goat cheese for a different flavor profile.
