Description
Baked Garlic Dijon Salmon is a flavorful and healthy dish that combines the richness of salmon with a zesty Dijon mustard glaze.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the Dijon mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Dijon mixture.
- You can also substitute maple syrup for honey for a different flavor profile.
- Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
